At Arcadian Pastures all of our meats are custom cut by Laurent in our very own state licensed butcher shop.
The only time our animals ever leave the farm is to make the short 10 mile trip to the USDA slaughterhouse which is required by law. (All poultry is slaughtered by us at the farm as it is exempt from this law). Once slaughtered under USDA inspection, the carcasses then return to us to be custom cut and packaged at the farm.
This allows us to provide our customers with the absolute freshest & cleanest meats. It also ensures that the animals we take such great pride in raising are the meats we sell to you, which unfortunately isn’t always the case when farmers must rely on the slaughterhouse to return what is rightfully theirs.
In addition, by having our own butcher shop, we can provide individual customers and restaurants with best opportunities for fresh custom cut meats cut to your individual specifications and in a timely manner.
